Couldn’t get through it. The character of Leo in the first book is a high school senior in love with life. The narrator (whom I LOVE, by the way) made him sound like a jaded, beaten down by life 40-something.

That being said, though, I LOVE Roan’s writing and Spencer’s narration of the 2nd book in the series is probably the best performance of an audio book I’ve ever listened to. He captured every aspect of Colin brilliantly and beautifully.

A Place Called Winter by Patrick Gale is an audiobook that has stuck with me. The story is so moving. Also, the author narrated which I had been worried about but turned out to be wonderful.

Although I purchased several of these new releases, Faking It was the one on the list that listened to last. And I love Michael Pauley’s voices.

Audiobooks always seem to take any book to another level. There are so many awesome narrators, it’s hard trying to pick just 1 favorite.

Where We Left Off by Roan Parrish narrated by Spencer Goss is such a great listen! These two are a match made in heaven. Roan writes the most amazing words and Spencer brings them to life!

Omg I’m so happy Where we left off is in this list, the story is absolutely compelling and Spencer did an extraordinary job. His voice is perfect and I could listen to him for hours, it has passion and brings the characters to life. He possesses emotion and that is not easy to find.

The performance (of Joel Leslie) for Lord Mouse is rich, lush – like having a front row seat at a live performance.
I’m sad that I can only pick one – so many to choose from, but my vote id for Lord Mouse!

I’ve listened to Necromancer’s Dance by SJ Himes something like 5 times since it came out. The narrator is awesome and does a great job with the different voices and subtleties in the voices. The book is, of course, also awesome.

My favorites are Absolution by Sloane Kennedy & Joel Leslie & His Boy by Bink Cummings and Nick Russo & Dorian Bane.

I really love all my audio books, it’s why I’ve bought them, no one is more a favourite because I’ve re-listened to them numerous times, and it depends on my mood which book I re-listen to.

Joel Leslie never fails to deliver, which is why I bought this audiobook. And now I have a new author to read!

Roan Parrish and Spence Goss make the greatest team. Her characters are beautifully full of angst and he just captures that trait perfectly. Listening to his rendition of Colin made me hiperventilate alongside the character’s panic attacks. I’ve listened to 63 audiobooks in the last 2 years and Out of Nowhere is definitely my favorite!

Yes! I couldn’t agree more. Spencer Goss brings Colin and Rafe to life. Roan Parrish creates such interesting and real characters. Her description of Colin’s panic attacks was spot on and Goss’s narration makes you feel Collin’s pain and Rafe’s frustration in trying to get through to him. I listen to Out if Nowhere all the time as I get things done during my day.

J.F. Harding does an amazing job narrating Josh Lanyon’s Fair Chance. I love his Tucker and Elliot voicing, and Harding moves gracefully and skillfully between intimate scenes and suspense. A brilliant conclusion to this trilogy.

I love the Adrien English Mysteries by Josh Lanyon, but also really like the
Psycop series by Jordan Castillo Price. I don’t really have very many audio books yet but it’s fun to listen to the ones I have over the weekend when I’m cleaning the house. 🙂

I’m so confused. On Audible’s site what list is Fair Chance by Josh Lanyon on? I see the Where We Left Off is number 1 in Fiction G&L, but where is Fair Chance?

So, it’s not listed in an MM category?

No wonder I couldn’t find it. I thought the genre (MM) was growing. I wonder why Mr. Lanyon or his publishers don’t want him in an MM section.

Thanks for the info though.

Audible is terrible at listing things appropriately – the authors and narrators have to fight all the time for things to be “filed” correctly 🙂
