COMMENT ABOUT YOUR FAVORITE TROPE/THEME TO BE ENTERED TO WIN $25 FROM DREAMSPINNER PRESS!

  1. I like enemies to lovers and second chances. Lately I’ve also enjoyed quite a few May/December books, because if it works then I’m the last person to judge another person’s happiness.

  2. I confess I’m torn between enemies to lovers and friends to lovers. I think those two are at the top of my favorite tropes list because I love reading stories that show how a relationship transitions from one thing to another, and the really fab ones have amazing tension between the characters. 🙂

  3. I used to always say friends-to-lovers was my number 1 always and forever…and then I recently read a few enemies-to-lovers and I am in love. And torn. How do I pick between the two? I can’t, so it is a tie. 🙂

  4. A big fan of soldiers and getting what they deserve in the love of their life 🙂 Shifters and the idea of true mates…..and those who protect others – bodyguard, security, army vets etc.
I could write so many more lols 🙂

  5. I don’t know if I like friends-to-lovers or stories with tortured/troubled/damaged heroes. Nothing says “love conquers all” more than overcoming ones past.

  6. I have a strong weakness for true mates. Esp love when they show the couple working out how to live together and have a strong relationship that’s based on more than you are the other half of my soul

  7. Opposites attract, GFY, ones where someone doesn’t think they are worthy of love but they find someone to show them otherwise, so many tropes that kick @ss and are favorites of mine.

  8. I like friends to lovers especially the ones when they have known each other since they were really young.I also like enemies to lovers.

  9. My favorite tropes are any that involve “opposites attract”. May-december romances, Enemies to Lovers, Billionaire and Average Joe, Boss/Employee.. Etc I also love romances with mystery or suspense.

  10. May-december romances, Enemies to Lovers, Billionaire and Average Joe, Boss/Employee.. Etc I also love romances with mystery or suspense.

  11. It’s so hard to pick just one. I just read a new adult title that was best friends to enemies to lovers and it was great.

  12. My favorite tropes change by my mood. However I usually enjoy hurt/comfort, May/December and psychic hunts for killer (is that a thing? I’m making it a thing) ?

  13. I don’t really have a favourite troup/theme, I only read m/m and a variety of themes, shifters, vampires, fantasy, I do like Rhys Ford’s murder mysteries too and cowboys etc.
like I said I don’t have one favourite lol

  14. Tate – the penultimate book in Ella Feank’s Temptation Series . Full of love, lust, sex, emotion, and so, so beautifully written.
This book, this series is a must.
And audio just makes the whole experience magical.

  15. My favorite is when a straight man falls for a gay man!!! The harder he tries to resist and the harder he falls, the more I like it!!!

  16. My favorites are paranormal and high fantasy but honestly as long as it has a HEA with a great story I will read any trope in the MM genre

  17. I like dark themes and tropes that introduce a lot of conflict to overcome, like recovery, second chances, or enemies to lovers.
