There are so many good books! So little time to read them, sigh. Romances are usually a quick easy way to relax and unwind.

I’m a great fan of Happy Ever After πŸ™‚ and romance is sure one place you can find that, in spite of all the odds! πŸ™‚

A good romance takes you on the journey with the MC and you feel like your part of the HEA. It gives you the warm fuzzy inside. It’s a good feeling.

I love series of books by the same author or even cross-series because I like to see more of the love after the main romance story has been told. No couple lives on a desert island all alone, I love their interaction with others falling in love.

So many great books to try to decide on. I love reading romance because it gives me an escape and a look into other places and how others live.

The quality of Authors in the romance genre just keeps getting better and better!
NR Walker’s “The Weight of it All” is my new ‘go to happy place’ when I need a pick-me-up.

I love romances they push me into an array of feelings and it’s just fun to read about the different ways love can be found and experienced.

A few of my title choices on the above list! I love the take and give, the acceptance (of good and bad) that comes in romance; the journey to get there as oppose to something rushed/instant.

I always felt that romance isn’t for me. But whenever I read romance stories, it makes me forger how harsh reality is and wants me to believe again.

Nice range of books. I like romance, and like it best if it’s not just about the romance but balanced with another main element – could be just a historical, but could be mystery, sci-fi, fantasy, western, or thriller-adventure.

I like that it takes me out of my head and somewhere else. I want what everyone else wants, to have a great love and romance books portray that.

Well this just means I have new books to add to the wishlist because apparently I have missed a few of these. Yay for some fresh holiday reading material.

I love that it takes me out of my head. Some stories and authors give me heart palpitations at times (lolll), or all the feels, they can make me laugh, and makes me want to read more and more.

I love knowing there will be an HEA, the angst, the complications, the fun and the overwhelming love it’s just so fabulous to read!

Like so many others I love reading because you can emerge in a whole new world πŸ™‚ I love to read romances because they rarely exist in the outside world in the way they exist in books. It’s just that excitement of going on the journey with the characters to find their HEA πŸ™‚

They are such a great escape for me from everyday life and stress. I love the action, adventure, sexy times, laughter, and knowing that everyone will be happy in the end.

Besides the wonderful escape with the promise of HEA, I love romance books because they are rarely “just” romance. There can be comedy, drama, intrigue, mystery, horror, history, sci-fi etc as well. Whatever I’m in the mood for, I can find it mixed in with a love story

Great selection, which makes how you vote a nighmare. You want to support your favourite books, but some are on your TBR list awaiting reading, decisions, decisions, decisions……

I like the feeling I get when reading romance, the opportunities the characters have to what they want (RL is not very forgiving).

When so many people are uncertain about their futures, romances are a great way to keep hope alive because people always get at lease a HFN.

From all these amazing e-books and audiobooks, it was almost impossible to choose one! So I voted two and now I’m going to pray that either of them wins! πŸ™‚

I love romances for the work it takes to love another person and finding that special person who loves you for all your flaws and best parts too.

So many good choices. I read romances for the HEA (and the journey to the HEA). I like it when characters can overcome their obstacles/pasts/differences to build a life together.

So many books on that list that I want to read, but thanks to the cancer this year, I’ve been very limited on buying. I am doing reviews more this year just to get some more books. Read a good mpreg one recently.
I like romances (and sci-fi) because the stories usually have a happy ending and they can usually take my mind off of the real world while I’m reading.

The HEA. Life is such a mess with no guarantees, and it’s rarely fair. But no matter how much someone has messed up, or is messed up, or feels unworthy of love, in a Romance book you know he’ll get his perfect “ending”: that one person who loves him and sees the true value of him, as well as a chance to redeem himself. All wrapped up in a tidy bow.

Our world is filled to the brim with hate, violence, and death. Romance books? They sweep all of that away with the simple -yet true- fact: humans are capable of love. We can connect. We don’t have to always wage war. We don’t have to react negatively to everything. We can do more than coexist.
