Quinn’s life was filled with pain until he was rescued from an abusive pack. But in Lydon, Quinn can’t be sure of anything, so he’s terrified of everything. With no one to give him direction, he is lost—until Deke takes control of him.
Deke Timmons hates that he has to play the role of master to his mate.
Unfortunately, Quinn won’t accept his love until Deke can show him what being mates means. Vowing to help Quinn, Deke takes him into the world he’s never seen. Though sometimes their relationship is tense, his methods seem to be working.
Then a power-mad Alpha swoops in to kidnap Quinn and ends up getting Deke by mistake.
Now Deke must play submissive to a wolf complicit in Quinn’s abuse. He’ll do whatever it takes to get back to his mate—but with Deke in peril, Quinn must find his courage and reclaim the person he was meant to be.
While Quinn and Deke are trying to find their way, a new enemy comes into the picture to steal it all away. Can the two find a way to happiness or will it be taken away from them before it even starts.
Quinn and Deke’s story brings readers back into the world of the Lyndon pack. The two are good together and it was nice to see Quinn begin to find a way back to himself with the help of Deke. When an enemy strikes, we get to see the strength that Quinn finds as he grows. As the two men work to find a way back to each other they each grow and learn. The bond that the two have begun to forge is what will save them. Not only was it nice to see Quinn and Deke‘s relationship deepen but it was also nice to see the closeness of the pack when one of them is in need. I enjoyed seeing the connections that are forged and made stronger through this latest ordeal and am eager to see what will come next for the pack.
