The Shipwreck by Rosalind Abel

Lamont Price’s romance novels have been a hit for the past few years. With his gorgeous looks, kind heart, and tender disposition, Lamont is the darling of Lavender Shores. He’s the guy everyone wants to be their best friend, the guy everyone wants to protect. But even with his success and the love of his family, Lamont feels hidden from those around him. Maybe the first step is attending a writing conference and revealing the man behind his pen name….

Tyler Dixon survives off his beauty and charm. From cover model to runway fashion to weekend arm candy, Tyler’s prices aren’t cheap. While his appearance is taking him places, his life as an artist has little more than flatlined. When an author hires him to appear as the face of her brand, Tyler thinks it’s just one more job. Little does he know another writer is going to steal all of his attention.

Escaping the conference to find some breathing room, Lamont runs into Tyler at a bar. Casual conversation leads to Lamont revealing his family’s obsession with helping him find love. It’s not a big deal to Tyler, who has played the role of boyfriend for other people in the past. Before either of them can rethink the situation, Tyler is in Lavender Shores meeting Lamont’s family. Though they’re only pretending to be in a relationship, the chemistry that ignites between them is anything but imaginary…

Another well-written book in the Lavender Shores series. This is a standalone, but it helps to have read the others in the series, if only to keep track of the other couples, family members.
Lamont is a writer who longs to write under his own name, Tyler is a romance book cover model and a professional photographer. He also moonlights in adult entertainment – (Lamont doesn’t know this – yet). Lamont needs a boyfriend for a family gathering so Tyler offers his services, (as a fake BF for hire). Both men are already attracted to each other, but both have their reasons for not trying to act on the mutual attraction – Lamont is insecure about himself, age (older) and Tyler has to prove to Lamont that his attraction is not fake.
The romance develops smoothly, that is until Lamont finds out what else Tyler does for a living – it’s not the photography 😉
What I really liked about the story is that the MC’s are flawed like most real people. They need to work on themselves before they can be whole for anyone else. There is no magic fix – Lamont gets professional help for his insecurities, Tyler goes back to his other vocation (but with changes) and he takes a chance to make his dreams of being a photographer come true.
There is one little surprise – Lamont had a bit of a kink in him! But you have to read the book to see what it is ☺
I really liked this book.

Audiobook: Depth of Field (Last Chance #1) by Riley Hart Narrated by Tristan James

Audible Link

Shane Wallace has made a decent life for himself in Last Chance. He built his own home on his mom’s property to take care of her, owns an automotive repair shop, and when he wants to get laid, Portland isn’t too far away. Not too shabby for the boy who spent his childhood getting bullied and feeling alone. Shane’s content to leave his past behind him…until one of his childhood tormentors comes back to town.

Maxwell Sullivan never planned to step foot in Last Chance again. Here, he was Maxwell, a teen who suffered in silence while everyone thought he had the perfect life. Now, he’s “Van,” the erotic artist and photographer. He’s only here to help his mom tie up some loose ends after his father’s death and to apologize to Shane. After that, he’s heading back to LA for good.

Shane never thought he’d have anything in common with Maxwell, but there’s a depth to Van that surprises him. Van knows what it feels like to be alone. He sees Shane in ways no one else does. There’s a shared connection neither can deny. Somehow, despite their rocky history, they get each other.

It’s not long before the two are so drawn to each other that they tumble into bed—sometimes with Van’s camera involved. Their chemistry in and out of the bedroom is undeniable. Except nothing is ever black and white. Shane can’t leave his mom and Van’s life is in LA. With two different lives pulling them in opposite directions, their picture-perfect ending might not be in the cards.

(Book reviewed here previously)

This is the Riley Hart I fell in love with the first time I read Collide!

Riley has an amazing ability to tell the story of two guys finding love where it really shouldn’t “be”. There’s no way Shane and “Van” should get along and there’s no way Shane could ever forgive Van and there’s no way Van would ever be willing to compromise… but somehow they do!

I really appreciate the fact that Riley has the writing chops to make the reader believe in these guys and their story. There are no gaping plot holes, no giant suspensions of disbelief, just a few well placed “human” moments where people bend and flex enough to allow for something that normally wouldn’t happened to happen.

In addition to giving us a really believable story, she has also given us an amazingly tender, thoughtful and SUPER SEXY story!

Shane’s mother’s struggle is so real and I found myself rooting for her just as much as for the boys.

While I couldn’t understand Van’s mother or her situation much, I appreciated the fact that there was no “miracle cure” to be found, and that sometimes you just get what you get.

I am including this review in my “kink” month because I think that Shane has a definite “voyeurism” kink. While he might not admit it (yet!) he likes to be watched and loves having his picture taken especially when having sex. I think this book had some of the hottest sex scenes I’ve read in a Riley Hart book (writing alone).

This is a book you can’t put down and I loved it very, very much. Highly recommended!

Just – WOW!

And. Yum!

Add Tristan James to this amazing book and you have an audio book to drool over.

Tristan James’ voice is like eating desert – luscious and mouth-watering. He’s so easy to listen to – so well suited to this genre – and absolutely adds to the overall erotic experience of this book.

Highly recommended.

Yanni’s Story (Spencer Cohen #4) by N.R. Walker

Amazon Link

Free on KU!

When Yanni Tomaras is kicked out of his family home, his parents’ final words are religious insults and an order to never return. Homeless and desperate, he’s lured in by Lance—charming on the outside, an evil predator underneath—who abuses Yanni until he finds the courage to leave.

Yanni should feel free. But by the time Spencer Cohen finds him, he’s resigned to being handed back to Lance and once again being caged by fear.

Starting school and a part-time job, Yanni begins to reclaim his life. But a love for silent films leads him to Peter Hannikov, a man with a kind heart but who’s twice his age. An unlikely friendship between them blooms into so much more. Neither man knows what he wants, at first. Finding out exactly what he needs is Yanni’s story.

“I’d spent years as a bird, caged with my wings clipped, tormented and beaten.

I thought I’d escaped when I’d left my abuser, but in hindsight, I could see that I was still caged, this time by fear and self-doubt.

Spencer and Andrew, and Andrew’s parents, opened the door to the cage that confined me.

But it was Peter who taught me how to fly.”

Trigger Warning: Descriptions of violence, suicide, and sexual assault. Reader discretion advised.

Review by Mary

Yianni is a character from book 2 and the timeline runs along books 2 and three. In my opinion it can work as a standalone. As would be expected it is written from Yanni’s point of view. There is little to no angst and I like like that it is a positive story about Yanni pulling his life back together. When they first meet neither Yanni or Peter are in the right place for a romantic relationship but a close friendship develops from shared interests. Liked the pace of the story. I appreciate the slow burn of the impending deeper relationship given what Yanni escaped from and Peter only recently coming out of a relationship.
There is daddy kink in the story rather than just a May/December relationship which sort of surprised me. It comes from the security and nurturing angle of the kink rather than sexual games or the desire to dominate. That’s not to say they aren’t equal in the relationship because they are. It’s definitely not about control. I think this sums up Yanni’s feelings for Peter He was a pillar of warmth and strength and everything my soul craved. Such beautiful writing, so evocative.
The support characters really stand out and each one has a role, whether intentional or not in Yanni’s recovery. Andrew’s parents enfold Yanni into a family he so desperately needs and his house mates provide the understanding friendship. Whilst his work colleagues help to re-enforce his confidence.
I wasn’t sure what to make of this story when I started but as I went on I found it to be a beautiful story of healing, not just for Yanni but also for Peter, and quite thought provoking.

Review by Beth

This is a sweet story about a man, Yanni, who removes himself from an abusive relationship and the struggles he goes through to regain his feelings of self worth. All of the supporting characters are kind and generous, supportive of Yanni’s recovery.

The story shows us how much an abusive relationship can really warp your self worth. Depending how long the situation lasted, the more it seems the victim feels he isn’t worth redemption. The author takes us through many of the steps to recovery letting us root for Yanni to recover each small step he takes.

Then we have Peter who is mildly into the daddy aspect of BDSM. An older man who likes younger men. He and Yanni discover they have a lot of the same interests. Peter doesn’t learn of the extent of abuse Yanni had gone through until about half way through the story, yet he is kind and gentle in general.

The sex is sweet when it finally happens. And all the Daddy/boy play is very, very subtle.

The story moved at a pace that was appropriate for the content. I read this in pretty much 1 sitting, wanting to see how the story progressed.

Review by Morgan

I want to start by stating that I’m a big NR Walker fan, and I have LOVED pretty much everything she ever wrote. Mostly. But this wasn’t my favorite, unfortunately, it just hit me wrong, and I couldn’t get over the “daddy” kink. I think that’s pretty mild and only people really sensitive to the issue will notice – but that was my overshadowing impression.

I really loved the series and was happy to see Spencer again! But I wasn’t that involved in this story as I have been in the past.

The writing was good and I’m still a super fan!

Kink Month: The Cattery by KA Merikan

Free on KU!

— Role-playing a cat for six months? You said you’re paying how much? —

Goran’s mouth has no filter, and it’s losing him job after job. Desperate and a week away from being homeless, he finds an offer online that sounds too good to be true. Spending six months in a mansion by the beach in return for a hundred thousand dollars as long as he sticks to the house rules.

This might be the one job where his unruly mouth doesn’t get in the way. After all, saying the wrong thing is impossible… when you’re role-playing a cat.

Meeting all the other guys at the cattery seems to be the icing on the cake, but the inconvenient truth he dishes out turns out to be too much. Goran makes everyone his enemy, but worst of all, Ollie, the prettiest cat of the bunch, the one who’s been in the cattery the longest, and the one who makes Goran’s heart skip a beat.

Ollie’s big blue eyes hold secrets Goran is intent on cracking, but to do so, he will need to learn to bite his tongue and listen. Too bad the pretty blond ice prince is set on getting Goran kicked out of the cattery for good.

This is a book I’ve been meaning to read for a long time. The concept intrigues me but at the same time I was wary. I’ve read puppy play and pony play but cats by their very nature are fickle animals so unlike cuddly puppies or pretty ponies. This is a more fluffy pet play story than the other types and I seriously wonder why I was so wary. There is a cuteness about five men being cats with all their personalities matched to fit their cat persona.

Luis is a socially shy billionaire who likes the company of cats, human cats rather than people. He has built them their own luxury Cattery with everything they can desire, a chef, pool, games, etc. There are rules to follow but after six months a hundred thousand dollars. Easy money so Goren thinks. There are four cats already in the Cattery. Ollie (Oliver) was the original cat and has been with Luis for two years, Stoic Clove, easy going Bounce and nasty joker Cinnamon. Goren’s cat name is Smokey. From the start Goren’s straight talking upsets the others and he is given the cold shoulder. Six months is a long time with no other interactions if you don’t get along. The fun of the story is the interactions between characters. There is rivalry, bitching, sympathy, fun with a human size cat tree/gym, sex, blow jobs and cat fights real and play. Luis just wants to have fun with his kitties when he visits but since Goren arrived there have been tension. I’m not sure I like Luis as a character. He just wants the play kitties but doesn’t seem to be invested in the welfare of the men themselves. The emotions of the five men go through are described in depth and I love the way they give themselves over with abandon to their roles when called.

I was grateful for the epilogue giving a happy ever after but I was left wondering about Luis. This is sup to be the start of a series so there is hope of finding out what happened to the others.

All in all I quite enjoyed this kinky erotic fluffy romance.

Kink Month: Quillon’s Covert by Joseph Lance Tonlet

Freedom Island Investments Publishing / Amazon Link

Martin is a guy’s guy, one who enjoys the simple things in life: baseball games with his son, family days, barbecues, and date nights with his lovely wife.

Once a year for two weeks, Martin takes his son, Marty, to Quillon’s Covert, a rustic family cabin secluded in the beautiful California mountains. Since before those long days of learning to play ball, Marty has loved his dad, but as Marty matures, Martin starts to see something else settle in his son’s uncertain gaze. What’s there lingers a little more than it should, and it seems far more appraising than it once was.

As Marty shows every sign of taking the lead, Martin is faced with the tough choices most parents never see: lose his son by being a father, or try to balance what’s best for their relationship by being something… more.

But with another trip to Quillon’s Covert on the horizon, has the point of no return already begun?

Ok, before I can write this review, you need to know two things about me:
1. I am a bit of a perv. I love kink, I love dark reads, I love taboo reads. Pain, water sports, humiliation, pet play, non con and dub con? I say: Bring it!
2. I am (not so) secretly in love with Joseph Lance Tonlet

Despite of the above facts, I have been avoiding this book for ages, ever since it came out actually. Because it turns out, I actually do have a limit, and that limit was incest… or so I thought, anyway…
I still agreed to read this book, in order of our kink month, as I had it sitting on my shelf and being in love with the author, I just couldn’t NOT read it, right? So, I girded my loins and started to read…
And, phew… ok. At first I had a bit of an ick factor going on. The book starts out when Marty (the son) is a young teen, and since I knew what would happen later in the book, I couldn’t help to let that color my reading experience and the way I viewed Martin’s (the father) actions. Except, few pages in, I realized I wasn’t being fair, because there was absolutely nothing icky about Martin’s behavior towards his son. He was a great dad, loving, caring and affectionate and nothing else!
Some people will probably still get offended by the first couple of chapters in the book though, as Martin and his son are nudists when at the cabin. And for some reason nudity between children and adults are an absolute no go in today’s society. Which is kind of weird, when you think about it. Nudity isn’t inherently sexual, it only becomes sexual if your feelings towards the other person are sexual. Which Martin’s decidedly are not, towards his son.
But if you make it through that first nudity taboo, you’ll find a very engrossing and enjoyable story about love in all it’s different forms

The move from a platonic father son relationship into a sexual one actually happens quite gradually and organically, in a way that makes it seem quite “normal”, for lack of a better word. I was actually very well done. The love and affection was already there, so was the intimacy, the lust and desire came later. And this being a Joseph Lance Tonlet novel, you can always count on the sexy times being both steamy and a bit kinky… phew… This story gaves us everything from slow and tender loving, to rough fucking, sprinkled with a bit of bondage, spanking and dirty talk! Yum!

The ending suited me perfectly, I was a bit worried at one point, about how this would conclude, but I liked it. It may not work for all readers though and aside from the incest taboo, readers should be aware that both MCs are cheating on their respective partners at points in the book. Not something that really bothered me, but I know it’s a big NO for many readers.

All in all, very well done incest romance, hot and sweet. Would recommend.

Kink Month: His Missing Pieces by M.A. Innes

Amazon Link

Maddox was drawn to Bryan the first time they met…but something was missing.

Best friends, maybe more, they did almost everything together. They had classes together…studied together…hung out together…They were inseparable. But as close as they were, Maddox knew he was missing something about Bryan. Some kind of missing piece that would explain so much. If Bryan wasn’t in the closet, why was he so quiet about his sexuality? If he was out, why didn’t he date?

Why couldn’t he see Maddox as more than just a friend?

Bryan had no idea what to do. As much as he felt for Maddox, he’d never be able to tell him because that would mean letting him in on Bryan’s deepest secret. Maddox is the best but he’d never understand what Bryan needed…how he wanted to be loved. Right now he has Maddox’s friendship and that will have to be enough. If Maddox finds out what Bryan really wants in a relationship, he might lose even that.

This is not a kink I had thought I would be reading but I’ll give anything a try at least once. This is book one in the series and concentrates on how Maddox learns that Bryan’s kink is age play. For about the first quarter of the book they are friends and although Maddox desires Bryan, Bryan doesn’t seem to return that desire. Maddox happens to overhear Bryan say he’s attracted to Maddox but knows there is something else, something holding him back. Knowing this gives him hope.

His Missing Pieces is a well crafted story and I did enjoy it although it felt slow starting to me, but that could just be the laying out the ground for the series. There is a good build up of sexual tension between them that makes the wait worthwhile. The age play element did not bother me as much as I thought it would. Calling each other Daddy and baby is no different than a lot of other stories. When they used the bottle and binkie I thought it was cute, a tender moment between them. The diaper on the other hand I had to remind myself this was two consenting adults. The story is more about Bryan finding someone who accepts his kink and Maddox doing everything he can to fulfil Bryan’s desires. In this respect I found it helpful that the story was told from both their points of view. The chapters switch between both Bryan and Maddox giving their thoughts and fears when entering into this unknown area together. Maddox discovers being Dominant turns him on and Bryan realises being dominated in this way is better than he ever imagined. It is good to read a story where both characters are finding their way, usually one is more experienced than the other.

This story does finish on a happy ending and can quite easily be left at this point but if the age play intrigues you book 2, My Perfect Fit, is out as is book 3 Our Perfect Puzzle.

Kink Month: Let your Heart Decide by Lily G. Blunt

Amazon Link

New house, new job. A new start with his brother….
Two out of three isn’t bad, right?

Rhys returns to his hometown and must face the brother he’s been avoiding for two years. In his heart, Rhys still hopes to recapture the bond they once shared.
Jake willingly offers him the hand of friendship, but Rhys is reluctant to confront their past, fearing it will only rip them apart again.
When Rhys sees ghostly figures in the grounds of a local historic house, it leads him to investigate their shocking past—and to face his heart’s true desire.

What a wonderful love story! Two men bound by blood and friendship fall in love; two men who happen to be brothers.
Rhys, and his older brother, Jake have always been close, very close. However, Rhys starts to feel guilty about the relationship with his brother, and moves away. Two years later, he’s back in their hometown, wanting to make amends with his brother. While Rhys is settling into his new home, he struggles with his growing love for his brother. He also becomes interested in the history of an estate in the area, particularly when he thinks he’s seen a ghost.
Jake is patient with Rhys, allowing him to come to the realisation that they are still in love with each other.

The story is very well written, with a few twists. There’s a mystery involving the past history of 2 men (a history that is a little similar to Rhys and Jake’s current situation).
This could have been any love story; it just happened to be between brothers. I was engaged from the start and didn’t feel that the relationship was written for shock value. The only thing that niggled at me was how accepting the people in their circle were about the relationship – there was barely a ripple. But, I like fairly angst-free stories, so I got over that right quick ☺
Lovely story, highly recommend.

Kink Month: Permanent Ink (Art & Soul #1) by Avon Gale and Piper Vaughn

Riptide Presents

At twenty-three, Poe Montgomery is going nowhere. He still lives in his father’s basement and spends most of his time tagging with his friends. When an arrest lands him in debt, Poe accepts the front desk job at Permanent Ink, the tattoo shop owned by his father’s best friend, Jericho McAslan. Jericho is nearly twice Poe’s age, but with his ink and prematurely graying hair, he quickly takes the starring role in Poe’s hottest fantasies.

Jericho is known for his ability to transform poorly designed tattoos into works of art, but he was once as aimless and misdirected as Poe. Wanting to pay it forward the way someone once did for him, Jericho makes Poe his apprentice and is determined to keep things strictly professional. Easier said than done when Poe makes his interest—and his daddy kink—abundantly clear.

Jericho can’t resist Poe or their intense chemistry for long. But between the age gap, tension with Poe’s father, and Poe’s best friend calling him a sellout, they’ll need to ensure they’re both on the same page before they can rewrite their rocky start into something permanent.

Man – what a book!

I think at least one “job” a writer has is to make the reader “feel” and there is no question that these authors accomplished that.

There are so many things that I really loved about this story – but there are many (as much?) that I didn’t care for at all.

The Pros:
*Let’s start with that cover – YOWZA that is seriously HAWT and absolutely caught my eye!
* The premise: bratty punk falls for older guy who happens to be his mentor and father’s best friend – YES! That has so much potential!
* Tattooing. (say no more.)
* Street art. This was an unexpected surprise and one that I really appreciated – such a great and unique perspective about a (somewhat controversial?) subject.
* The MCs – separately they had some great characteristics and some great growth throughout the novel.
* The sexual tension in the first half of the book was seriously sweat inducing.

The Cons:
*The Daddy kink. If it’s something that works for you – this may not be a con – but I went into this with an open mind and the dynamics simply didn’t work for me. The balance of power was never equal (IMHO) and despite the fact that the authors (bravely) called attention to it – the fact that Jericho acted like Poe’s dad then fucked him hard never felt good or remotely romantic.
* The relationship. While it may have gained momentum had the story continued past where it ended, it never gained enough strength for me to feel good about it. Poe had a “miraculous” personality change and began toeing the line, Jericho wanted to have sex with him and did, somewhere along the line they declared their love. I didn’t see the actual love really manifest or develop. (Possible spoiler:

Spoiler Inside SelectShow
) While it was kinky and sexy the relationship these guys had never felt authentic or viable. To me, a solid relationship needs some sort of balance – however that manifests – and I saw Poe as never having any power. He was a kid from page one to the end. Jericho may have been able to see him as a sexual partner, but not a life partner – at least not in any way that was demonstrated in the story.
* The “romance”. Maybe this just isn’t a romance. It may have been simply “erotica” and that my expectations for it were off. However, the idea that these guys were leading up to some sort of permanent life sharing didn’t have enough weight behind it for me to buy it. They have a ton of sexual chemistry and a shared kink, a mutual love of art but that was it as far as we could see. Again, maybe given more time this could have changed.
* Poe’s art. (Possible spoiler:
Spoiler Inside SelectShow

So, while I was absolutely involved in the story and I thought the writing was great, overall this didn’t work for me – at all. The Daddy kink, which might have worked if handled differently, only managed to make me uncomfortable and the rough sex never got balanced with any sort of tenderness to make me feel like these guys connected more than physically. I definitely know this is a strong personal preference of mine (I avoid BDSM like the plague because of how it makes me feel) and the combination of the “Daddy/boy” dynamic coupled with sex that was far from “loving” and the sexual component of this story was just not my style at all. Since our MCs really connected as a couple almost exclusively sexually (the other parts of their relationship still felt like mentor/mentee or friends rather than boyfriend/partner) it was hard for me to see these guys as a “loving couple”.

There are definitely people who are going to love this story and I know that a lot of this is personal preference, but there you have it.

I don’t recommend this – and that breaks my heart because I’m a HUGE Avon Gale fan and literally re-read her hockey series weekly – but this didn’t work for me.

Because of the “Pros” I give this 2.75 (rounded to 3) of 5 stars

Kink Month: Chuck’s Dinosaur Tingler’s Vol 1 by Chuck Tingler Narrated by Sam Rand

Audible Link

Chuck Tingle is a world-renowned master of the ‘tingler’; a story so
sensual, so erotic, and so powerfully gay that it will change the whole
way you look at erotic romance literature. Collected here are three such
tales of the dinosaur variety. Are you ready to depart on a depraved
journey of gay lust that will tingle you to your very core? If so, than
this explicit collection is for you.

My Billionaire Triceratops Craves Gay Ass

Jeremy was never quite sure about his feelings for Oliver, his gay pet
dinosaur, until Oliver scores big and leaves home to pursue his dreams of
being a dancer. Years later, the two of them reconnect for dinner in New
York City, and realize that there may have been more to their relationship
besides prehistoric pet and master. Now a wealthy socialite, Oliver the
triceratops is willing to take another chance on Jeremy, and soon the two
find themselves locked in a passionate evening of gay human-dino love.

Gay T-Rex Law Firm: Executive Boner

When Donny lands a job at Jurassic Law, the world’s leading T-rex law
firm, he’s absolutely thrilled. Unfortunately, after just one day it
quickly becomes clear that Donny’s new position entails more than just
legal work. Soon Donny makes the deal of a lifetime and finds himself
contractually bound into a gay T-rex gangbang that gives new meaning to
the term, “dinosaur bones.”

Space Raptor Butt Invasion

Space can be a lonely place, especially when you’re stationed by yourself
on the distant planet Zorbus. In fact, Lance isn’t quite sure that can
last the whole year before his shuttle pod arrives, but when a mysterious
visitor appears at Lance’s terraforming station, he quickly realizes that
he might not be so alone after all. Soon enough, Lance becomes close with
this mysterious new astronaut, a velociraptor. Together, they form an
unlikely duo, which quickly begins to cross the boundaries of friendship
into something much, much more.

Chuck Tingler has risen from bizarre porn obscurity to a multi-media
sensation. He started out doing dinoaur, unicorn and Big Foot gay porn
(moving on to even more bizarre living items and concepts pounding the
butts of fictional bicurious bottoms) to a Hugo nomination and an upcoming
dating simulation video game that I’ve backed on Kickstarter (anybody want
to read a review on that when it’s released?) While this is the first of
his fiction I’ve gotten around to reading/listening to, I’ve been
following him for awhile on Facebook – , which is quite an experience in
itself. I’m not quite sure if Dr. Tingle (I’m not sure if the Doctorate is
legitimate, but he sometimes uses it)actually believes everything he’s
writing or if it’s all brilliantly orchestrated performance art, but he’s
highly entertaining and occasionally even a little heartwarming in his
brash, troubled enthusiasm.

That’s a pretty lengthy introduction to a review of an audiobook that
clocks in at just over an hour, but I feel like understanding the Tingler
phenomenon is important to understanding the work.

Three stories are collected here, so there’s not a whole lot of time to do
much else than get to the dinosaur sex.

The first story, My Billionaire Triceratops Craves Gay Ass, was my
favorite of the three. There’s a fair amount of world building and a wee
bit of actual relationship development, such as it is. Jeremy is reunited
with his former pet Triceratops, who left him after he became a
billionaire through betting on the Super Bowl, and has since gone on to
become a successful broadway dancer. The absurdities of the story just
pile up and there’s no sense getting caught up in trying to make sense of
how it. The sex isn’t nearly as interesting as reading lines like “he had
old world Jurassic charm.”

The second story, Gay T-Rex Law Firm: Executive Boner, is a little more
direct in getting to the sex, but the absurd situation was enough to hold
my interest for a short story. A young straight lawyer on his first day at
a prestigious dinosaur law firm signs a contract agreeing to a T-Rex gang
bang for ten million dollars thinking it’s just a joke, then enjoying
himself tremendously when he discovers his new bosses were serious about
the indecent proposal.

The third story, Space Raptor Butt Invasion, involves a lonely astronaut
who finds solace in a visiting velociraptor. There’s some back story about
dinosaur astronauts fleeing Earth before the giant meteor was supposed to
wipe them out. Our lead’s denial of his true feelings (“It’s not gay if
it’s a human dude and a dinosaur dude, right?) was a highlight of the

Unless your kinks are a lot weirder than mine this may not get your engine
going (the sex is surprisingly straightforward for human/dinosaur banging)
but the comedy and outrageous imagination of the whole thing makes it well
worth checking out. I think everybody should read a Chuck Tingler story
just to say they did, and I was entertained enough that I’d like to read
more someday. I’m particularly curious to see how the concept works in
some of his longer novellas.

Eighteen year old Danny sells himself to Peter Archer to repay his father’s gambling debts.

This 36,790 word novel includes explicit content, including: m/m, dubious consent, oral sex, anal sex, sounding, plugging, fisting, BDSM, and ass play. All characters are 18 years or over. If any book is going to get you heated enough to visit or another adult site after a page of reading, this will be it.

PLEASE NOTE! The version of this book that I own is a compilation novella published by Cari Waites. Cari Waites is Lisa Henry and she has since then removed the edition I own, but republished the story in an anthology called Stealing Innocents.

Note: This is a complete compilation of all 7 volumes of the Gamble Everything series.

This book is a mind fuck. I do believe this is the only book I have ever read, that have made me feel like a pervert, because even though this is seriously dub con it is clearly written to titillate and I have to admit, that I do enjoy it. Every time I re-read it.

Danny is 18 and agrees to be sold as a prostitute to Mr. Archer as payment for his fathers gambling debts. His new world is one of submission and obedience, with a new ‘Daddy’ who wants to own every single part of him.

Originally this was written as a serial, and then collected into a whole story of part 1-7. This means that there are some unnecessary recaps at the beginning of each chapter, but they are not too bothersome. The original book is no longer available, but the story has been re-released as part of the Stealing Innocents anthology.

I can recommend this book if you are looking for a dark and twisted erotic tale, but if you are looking for romance and a happy ending you should go elsewhere.
