Blurb
Love or hate. Life or death. No inbetween. No compromise. No rules in love and war.

Knight. Party monster. Handsome Savage. Doesn’t do monogamy.
Elliot. Obsessive. Intense. Uncompromising.

Newly single, Knight is done with relationships. All he’s interested in is bringing down The Count, an Internet personality who is tarnishing his family name. An opportunity to crush him comes when the audacious clown shows up at the Kings of Hell MC clubhouse to film for his YouTube channel. But when Knight meets Elliot, the man behind The Count, he no longer knows what to do with him.

Knight has never seen a more pathetic creature than Elliot. He’s also never met anyone who needed him more. Skinny, messed up, and a bucket of trouble as thick as tar, everything Elliot does seems to be a wordless death wish. No matter how much Knight hates Elliot’s alter ego, under the makeup and theatrics hides a fragile young guy with a passion for history, and Knight can’t help but catch Elliot every time he falls.

Elliot has bad taste in men. Always hopelessly attracted to violent brutes, his favorite is a long dead serial killer. But he gets more than he’s bargained for when he seizes an opportunity to meet the man of his dreams. The ghost is manipulative and dangerous, offering Elliot all he’s always wanted, for a price he can’t possibly pay.

Elliot is faced with an impossible choice between two men.
One alive, one dead.
One carnal and honest, one drizzling sweet, poisoned promises into his ear.
One unwilling to commit, the other promising an eternity together.
And Elliot doesn’t settle for half-measures. He craves a love that is all or nothing, passion that will consume him, and desire to burn him alive.
Elliot is ready to either get that, or die trying

Review
This is one terrific ghost story that pulls in murder, lies and obsession but not I would say a love story as such. It’s a very dark story that made me feel uncomfortable at times. Elliott is an unsettling character. From early on I had the impression he had mental health issues with the level of obsession and his desperation to be wanted. Maybe this is unfair I will leave you to make up your own mind. What he desperately wants is some to love and focus on him. When Elliott feels hurt or insecure he makes questionable choices, which leads Knight to rescue him. At the heart of the story is a triangle between Knight, Elliott and the ghost of William Fane. Knight saves Elliott who’s obsessed with the ghost of William Fane, a serial killer from early 19 Century.
Elliott has a kink for humiliation, he wants his partner to use and control him in the bedroom but equally to take care and protect him. Knight got his nickname by being the White Knight out to save the damsel in distress. Only problem is Elliott gets jealous and reckless when he sees philandering Knight with someone else. Cue one manipulative ghost who entices Elliott to do his bidding. Fane is cruel and Elliott suffers once he lets him get a hold. This is where the pace picks up. Beast and Laurent, the main characters from book 1, come more into the story from this point. You are given a synopsis of book 1 so this can be read stand-alone. Personally I think to get the most out of it read book 1. Stick with the slower ground setting first part it’s worth it to get to the dark twisted second half with ghosts and demon. KA Merikan are terrific descriptive writers a this works so well for both the sex scenes and the dark scenes.

Blurb:

Professor Vale Aman is an unbonded omega in his mid-30s who lost the hope of contracting with an Alpha. He’s content with his career, his poetry, his cat, and his small group of friends. When Jason Sabel imprints on Vale strong emotions and a deep sexual need to be together threatens to bring both men to ruin if they do not contract legally before consummating their bonding. Jason being such a young Alpha, with a much older Omega might just tear them apart.

Contracting with Jason also means Vale has to give up his independence trusting a young inexperienced alpha, not to mention facing the physical and emotional scars of his past. While Vale is not sure if giving up his comfortable life is worth it, Jason will not give up is fated mate and the future he knows they could share together.

Review

I have always avoided Omegeverse books, and MPREG has never been my thing, I felt like it’s never explained properly in many of them. But, as a Leta Blake book and the number of good reviews and recommendations this book gets I knew I had to read it. Leta has an amazing talent to write fantastic stories, heartbreaking, beautiful and gut twisting. This book was all these and more, and I am so happy to have read it at last. First, I want to say what an incredible world Leta created, the dynamic between characters, classes and Alpha-Omega-Beta is interesting and even though this is such an over explored genre, this book feels unique. It did take me a bit to get into the story, at first I was getting my bearings, but as soon as I did I was hooked and could not put it down! This book twisted me up and was so emotional, I felt deeply for each character.

The narration was superb, done with a sensitive touch and expert emotional timing, Michael Ferraiuolo lead me through the story like a sheep after its shepherd. He put the right emphasis on every note, tone and breath and brought life to the wonder that is this book. I have listened to another book narrated by him (Annabeth Albert’s On Point) and his narration was as moving and thrilling there as it was here. He has a wonderful way of capturing you and really delivering the atmosphere of the story. Knowing this book is as good as it is I would still not skip the pleasure of listening to the audio version.

Leta created amazing relationships between all the characters, and set them into a complex situation both dangerous and exhilarating. Jason and Xander have an amazing bond that is just wonderful to read, despite and painful decisions they had to make and endure. Discovering Vale Is Jason’s Erosgape is a shocking twist of fate and they both need to learn how to live this new, unexpected turn in their future. Jason is staggering to understand and adapt to the new role he now needs to fill as an Alpha to an Erosgape’, and it’s not a smooth transition.

I admired the way Leta wrote Jason’s transitioning from careless young man to bonded Alpha. This book embodies the struggle between the instinctual, animalistic, biological side of a person and the human, civilized side. And, unlike many shifter and Omegaverse stories there is not clean black and white, before and after split. Jason has all these new overwhelming instincts and urges, but he cannot turn off the person he was up to the point he met vale. That part with Xander, moved me to tears, it was intense, and so very realistically emotional. Xander is the one character that touched me the most. He is, without a doubt, the most miserable, sweet, twisted character I had the pleasure of reading and his part in this story was one of the best in my opinion.
I also loved Jason’s parents, and his Pater in particular, his story was so heartbreaking and really emphasized the difficult reality of their lives. Vale, too is such an interesting character, struggling to be independent in a culture that does everything to deprive him of said independence.

I enjoyed the laws and proceedings Leta created in this world when dealing with a possibility of bonding, both contracted and Erosgape’. It made the world real and gave it a cruel edge that I find so engaging in Leta’s writing. In this very fantastical setting, a make-believe reality that seems so far from our own there is an unmistakable thread of humanity and real, painful struggles. This is the undeniable reason for my complete infatuation with this book, these wonderful characters, this world that is both beautiful as it is ugly.

Time to get Paranormal: Born of Air by Sean Michael

Meet the Beteferoce brothers: five dragon shifters, each with a strong elemental power. And each with a fierce desire to find his soul mate…

He said he was flying on a silver dragon. He called me “Markus-meine.” Who would know all that? Who? And how?

SWAT cop and dragon shifter Mark Beteferoce had—and lost—a soul mate. He’s finally at the point where he can get through the days without thinking about what used to be…until he tastes Quincy O’Brien’s doughnuts and takes him home to play.

Quincy O’Brien is a gifted baker, but at night he dreams of soaring through the sky on dragonback and being topped by the perfect Dom. Mark satisfies the kinky urges Quincy has only explored in his subconscious, pushing his limits and caring for him afterward.

From the start, their connection was more than sexual. It’s known; it’s familiar somehow. And it’s slowly driving Mark insane. What shouldn’t be possible most certainly is, and the bond between himself and Quincy runs deeper than either of them could ever have realized.

Review

Mark once had a soulmate, but he was tragically taken from him. Since than he has hidden all his feelings and wants away never thinking that he would ever find love again. When Mark takes a chance and decides to try to have some enjoyment in his life again he finds Quincy. The two seem to be made for each other but after a wonderful night Mark hears words from his past come from Quincy. Mark is unsure of what this could mean but soon he must decide if he is truly blessed again with a rebirth of his soulmate and take a chance on love again or let Quincy and his second chance slip from his grasp.
I loved watching Quincy and Mark’s story unfold. The two men make a great couple. Both men have strong personalities and together they shine. It was nice to see the attraction that they share turn into something much deeper. Mark has lived in pain for so long and with Quincy he is given a second chance, but it is up to him to take it. I enjoyed the relationship and the banter between the two men. Mark is a good man and it was nice to see the different facets of his personality come out with Quincy.
Their story is heavy on the sex, but it is what brings these two together from the start and it is what centers and completes this pair. They are at the beginning of their relationship and it is something that is more than just fun and satisfying. It is a deeper level of connection for the men.
It was also nice to see the scenes with the three brothers and their soulmates enjoying themselves together, the strong connections both physical and mental was easy to see and the camaraderie was nice. All were ready to welcome Quincy and make him feel like family.
This is a sexy fast paced story that grabbed me right from the start and did not let go until the very end. The author has built a wonderous world around these dragons and I am excited to see what comes next in their world.

Leeland Drake and Jonathan White are a committed BDSM couple and have just moved in together. Leeland has only one year left in college, and everything seems perfect… until Leeland’s uncle asks him to stand in for an injured UFC fighter.

Leeland wants to help his uncle, but he remembers all too well from his years competing in martial arts how strenuous life as an athlete can be. He doesn’t want to risk his relationship with Jonathan. After some discussion, they decide Leeland will go pro for a year.

As if the training and strict diet weren’t bad enough, the pressure skyrockets when Leeland encounters homophobic fighter Noah Adams—especially when they end up facing each other in the championship.

Between the bigoted rants of his opponent, the scrutiny of the media, the pressure from his sponsor, and a fire in his uncle’s gym, Leeland is close to breaking down. Only Jonathan’s support and love keep him focused enough to set foot in the octagon once more—and maybe even walk away a winner

Review by Truus
Leeland and Jonathan

As a perfect fit D/s couple Jonathan and Leeland will move in together.

Martial arts is Leeland’s expertise and to help his godfather he has to go pro as UFC fighter for the next year. He don’t really want to, but family matters and he has to help his uncle.

It is harder than they ever could imagine, the stress, the bigotry and homophobia, the exhausting days. Leeland has such a hard time but he is lethal and vicious.
But opponents can be vicious too… and ugly.

A very captivating story with wonderful personalities. Smoothly written with a nice flow. Jonathan and Leeland are not in a typical BDSM relationship. They play in their own way and have their own rules. Deep rooted love is the what glued and hold them together. Between all the training and fighting we can enjoy some delicious hot and satisfying scenes and how they still learn from and with each other. Their friends who are all subs and Doms are irreplaceable and their stories woven into this journey are also awesome. And all this together made it to an entertaining story. I just love the dynamic between Doms and their subs.

Review by Mary

A Dom and his Warrior is the third book in the Club Whisper series and can be read as a stand-alone. Having said that there are characters from the previous books with cameo roles in this book and it’s nice to know their story to give some context. To be honest I didn’t love this story as much as the previous two. I couldn’t find the hook, that something to pull me into these characters story. Both Leeland and Johnathan are lovely kind generous men. Maybe too bland? Leeland goes through so much to help his uncle with the training to be a UFC fighter but never has a tantrum. Yes he has a wobble which he comforts with a sugar binge but no drama. That’s what I think I was missing, the drama of Leeland being constantly under pressure and harassed by his homophobic opponent. On the other hand Xenia Melzer knows how to write hot BDSM scenes. In fact the book opens with a scene. One that completely fits in with both Leeland and Jonathan’s temperaments being such nice guys. It was a nice story, don’t get me wrong and I might be too harsh because we all need something mellow every now and again. The other aspect that distracted me was that Leeland wasn’t sure what to make of Emilio and Garrett’s relationship. This aspect kept being mentioned but wasn’t resolved. Possibly it was setting up the story arc for the next book.

Can two Doms open their hearts again for a young man desperately in need of their help?

Two years ago, Aaron Greene and Sam Thompson were devastated when their submissive broke the contract that bound the three of them together. They still wonder what happened and whether they can find a way to move forward. When Aaron finds a sick young man by the curbside, his protective instincts kick in, and after consulting Sam, he takes Tim home.

After being thrown out of his home, Tim Waterman finds himself on the street, doing whatever he needs to survive. Until a bear of a Good Samaritan scoops him up and saves him. Then one bear becomes two, and a chance discovery gets him thinking about what might be, if he’s bold enough to make a move.

So what happens when Aaron and Sam wake up one morning to find Tim naked in their bed? Will they get a new chance at life, or will history Threepeat itself

Review
On finishing Threepeat I have mixed feelings, I didn’t want it to end and a feeling contentment, a satisfied sigh at the way it ended. I do love this series. I’m growing fond of all the characters just like I did with Collars and Cuffs. Sam and Aaron are heartbroken after their Sub leaves them. They just don’t understand why. Two years later they are coming around to the idea of trying again. This for me was an important part of the story, it sets up the premise for how their relationship works and how a sub fits into their dynamic. For Tim being found by Aaron is a blessing. He couldn’t survive much longer on the streets by himself. This is another emotional journey KC Wells and Parker Williams takes their readers on. The abuse Tim suffers at the hands of his family and insecurities arising from that along with the grief Sam and Aaron are feeling made it a compelling read for me. The emphasis of this story is relationships and family. Building a strong family from people who love you for who you are. Because of the abuse Tim suffered the kink is on the lighter side with some inventive aspects, the tickle session sounded more torturous than others I’ve read! Despite the emotional aspects the story is low angst with a lot of emphasis on communication. Maggie as always is a wonderful secondary and character and has a greater role in this story. On the whole it is a stand-alone book but like with other series you get more enjoyment knowing the background to a lot of the other characters.

Two plus one equals scorching hot fun.

Dumped by his boyfriend and reduced to living in a grotty bedsit, Josh Carpenter has gotten used to expecting the worst. Now he lives only for his job as a glassblower…and occasional glimpses of his sexy downstairs neighbors, Rai Nakamura and Evan Truman.

Every time he overhears the diminutive academic and the hunky plumber having loud and obviously kinky sex, Josh is overwhelmed with lust…and a longing for a fraction of what they have.

To his amazement, Rai and Evan find his embarrassing tendency to blush utterly charming, and the three men grow closer over the course of the long, hot summer. Despite Rai’s charming flirtation and Evan’s smoldering gaze, Josh is determined never to break his new friends’ loving bonds.

On the night a naked Josh falls—quite literally—into the middle of one of Rai and Evan’s marathon sex sessions, the force of their mutual attraction takes control. But just as Josh dares to hope, he senses a change. Leaving him to wonder if the winds of love are about to blow his way at last…or if history is about to repeat itself

Review
This hot story is told from shy insecure Josh’s point of view. We get a very brief glimpse into his history, an overbearing father, no other family and not much luck in love. This helped me to understand his reticence and why his first thought was always one of rejection. Rai and Evan live in the flat (apartment) below his and above his bossy friend Denise. I do like Myles writing. She is very British. The phrasing and descriptions she uses gives me a good sense of a crumbling Victorian or Georgian divided house they all live in and the type of people they are. Rai and Evan are in a long term relationship, they do however like to have a third join them from time to time. They are also a bit of exhibitions and love to explore anything kinky. This is where the hot fun comes in. Rai is certainly imaginative and they are all so randy. It’s very fun to read. Josh, is shy, never felt he’s entitled to ask for what he wants. Rai and Evan bring this out in him, get him to overcome his tongue tied reticence. I wouldn’t say Josh blossoms with them, it’s not in his nature to be forthright but he does find love and somewhere he belongs. Two men who love him back. I loved the mix of humour and serious relationship issues. Its not easy introducing another into an all ready established relationship or being the third coming in. That mixed with Josh’s insecurities made it all very credible to me.
I loved the bonus Christmas story at the end, made me laugh just picturing the scene.

When your deepest, darkest fantasy shows up, get onboard.

Sam Keller knows he’ll never find the excitement he craves in Middleton, Iowa – not while he’s busting his ass in nursing school and paying rent by slaving away in a pharmacy stockroom. Then Sam meets Mitch Tedsoe, an independent long-haul trucker who makes a delivery to a shop across the alley. Innocent flirting quickly leads to a fling, and when Mitch offers to take him on a road trip west, Sam jumps at the chance for adventure.

Mitch is sexy, funny, and friendly, but once they embark on their journey, something changes. One minute he’s the star of Sam’s every X-rated fantasy, the next he’s almost too much a perfect gentleman. And when they hit the Las Vegas city limit, Sam has a name to pin on Mitch’s malady: Randy. For better or for worse, Sam grapples with the meaning of friendship, letting go, growing up – even the meaning of love – because no matter how far he travels, eventually all roads lead home

Review
One hot book packed full of kinky sex. Quite steamy at times. There is the right mix of sex, angst, humour and heartwarming moments but more importantly this is their story. It’s not just about the sex I got invested in the characters. Sam is a young man who doesn’t know what he wants, he has the vaguest of notions but no real idea. He feels trapped and beholden to his Aunt and Uncle, who are not portrayed in a good way (think of Harry Potter’s Aunt and Uncle). In his own way Mitch is equally lost. He no longer believes in himself and or his desires. He has a turbulent past and doesn’t want to repeat any of it. He takes Sam away across country with him but sends out mixed messages. Sam is desperate to submit, to fill in what’s missing. The sex is hot but Mitch holds back and Sam is determined to know why. Their relationship is one of power exchange with some humiliation and exhibitions, during scenes. The story hots up even more when Randy comes back into Mitch’s life. He is not a likeable character in this book. A lot of his behaviour stems from jealousy. I always sigh with contentment when I finish this book, reading or listening. And to make it even better Sam and Mitch feature in the next book, Double Blind.
To my mind Iggy Toma absolutely captures the essence of Sam and Mitch. Sami’s complaining doesn’t come across as whiny or poor me, just fits with Sam’s character. Mitch has a lovely smoky gravelly voice that fits so well with him and being a trucker. I can’t forget smarmy Randy, wonderful voice Iggy gave him. Narration at it’s best.

Eight months ago Robin Secoya left his lover and master, Stack Lobond, because he didn’t believe Stack really cared about him. He was sure that for Stack, any warm body would do, and Robin wasn’t willing to be just a warm body anymore.

A chance meeting at the Iron Eagle Gym brings them back together, and old feelings aren’t far from the surface. They decide they can’t pass up a second chance at romance. But this time, it isn’t just Stack’s demanding career as a big-cat vet putting strain on their relationship. Robin also has a new job that takes up a lot of his time.

Will their kinky love affair crash and burn a second time, or can they find the balance that will allow the passion between them to flourish

Review
Robin feeling lonely and unable to get his Master, Stack, to listen to him left. He never stopped loving Stack and after a chance meeting (or maybe not such a chance considering his Master still went to this Gym!) they get together. There is a lot of kinky loving happening in the first 50 pages but rather than enjoy it I kept asking myself where is the communication in this, nothing has changed for Robin. They’ve given into lust and longing for each other. Rather good BDSM scenes as always. By the end I realised the reconciliation was all in the actions by Stack making an effort to change his way and by Robin sticking with his job. They come to an understanding and become able to see the other persons view. I was a little surprised by the end, it seemed abrupt, not quite a natural ending but fitting.
Sean Michael’s stories are never very deep, everything is kept light and very kinky. There could have been so much more angst and drama in this story but it’s not this writers style. Even knowing that I still wanted more substance from this story. I’m always drawn to his work but I think need to be more realistic in my expectations in future and enjoy the simplicity of it.

Dominate by Bailey Bradford

Forest is absent-minded, oblivious and so adorable, Dominant Quarry Light can’t help but to fall for him.

Quarry Light grew up tough—with a name like his, he didn’t have any other choice. Being a Dom came naturally to him, so when he got the chance to co-own a BDSM club with his friends, he leaped on the opportunity. If he thought he’d be able to find his soulmate sub easier, well, that was a side benefit.

The only problem is, that benefit had never appeared, and after having his heart and hopes crushed twice, Quar has decided he’ll stick to just scening with a sub now and then.

Fate has other things in mind, namely in the form of one Forest Tilden.

Forest is absent-minded, oblivious and so adorable, Quar can’t help but ask for his number after he stops to help the poor guy. Forest’s car picked the right day to bite it. He’s going to get more than a little mechanical advice from Quar. Together, they might get the future they both long for

Review
Dominate is the third book in a series of short stories set in a BDSM club. In my view it can be read alone as any reference to characters from the other stories are fleeting. This is a snapshot story covering about two weeks and I would’ve liked more. I felt I had just got invested in where Quarry and Forest’s relationship was going when the story ended. Having said that I loved the story. Forest is a virgin but knows what he wants and is drawn to BDSM. To satisfy his curiosity he visits a club where he meets Quar. Quar takes Forest under his wing and rest as they say is history. I do like Bailey Bradford’s characters. They are always likeable, well the main characters are. The BDSM scenes in this book are not heavy mainly discussions about what both of them want, some spanking and exhibitionism. If you are unsure about BDSM this would be a good story to start with.

There’s a shift of power happening in Hell, and nothing will ever be the same.

Kerr has been with High Demon Horatio’s household since his age of majority. A natural submissive pleasure demon, for the last seven years he has been untouched by his master Horatio and his job has morphed into a more managerial role. Still, it’s a shock when goons from Master Belial’s house arrive at his doorstep to inform him he’s been sold and his new master expects him to come immediately.

Lost by Horatio in a card game, Kerr finds himself in the Belial household, where Ceris, Master of the Harem, takes Kerr under his wing. Kerr is not only honored and used as he was made to be, but he is given a newly acquired demon, Harmony, as his own to train. The three pleasure demons have a rocky start, but they have all the time in Hell to figure out how to work together, and it isn’t long before they begin to care for one another.

Meanwhile, Belial has waited for thousands of years for Horatio to admit he’s actually a submissive. When it appears that’s never going to happen, Belial arranges for his best friend to lose a card game in which he’s offered himself as the prize. Horatio can’t believe Belial would do this for him, but the council puts their seal of approval on the bet, and he has no choice but to offer himself to Belial, who immediately gets to work convincing Horatio that he’ll be so much happier as Belial’s sub.

Will Kerr and Horatio find joy in their places in the Belial household? Only time will tell

Review
Phew, they certainly need a demonic libido to keep up with each other! Kerr is a submissive pleasure demon but when he is moved to his new master’s house he is a bit out of practice. Well of course there is only one thing to do about that and it is Ceris’s pleasure to do so. The fun starts from page four and doesn’t stop.
There are two stories running along side each other in this book. There is Belial’s sneaky pursuit of his friend Horatio. Both of them are High Master Demons but Belial is convinced Horatio is really a bottom. Horatio has been denying his nature all his life and now he’s in the position he has always dreamed of but his pride will not let him accept it. The other story is in the Belial’s harem with Ceris, Kerr and Harmony. Poor Harmony brought low by defaulting on a loan now finds himself a pleasure slave, a very reluctant and virginal one. Kerr has to train Harmony in his new position in the household. And both have to pleasure Ceris. What I like about Sean Michael is that there is always love in the relationship. The submissive is always cared for. I must admit I was a bit surprised by the epilogue.
If you are into BDSM with a lot of hot action and a touch of plot this could be just for you.
