  1. I was listening to The Lightning-Struck Heart by TJ Klune at the bus station and accidentally burst out laughing and that’s the story of how I got a whole row of seats to myself XD

  2. I voted for Dirty Heart by Rhys Ford because it was such a fantastic end to a great series and I already miss all the characters. Thanks!

  3. Loved How to be a Normal Person! The narration by Derrick McClain was
spot on. T.J. Klune created some great characters — Gus! Also, I’m sure the
Wikipedia articles were written by the Kid ?.

  4. Listening to How to Be a Normal Person on a first class upgrade on the Acela I started crying while laughing out loud. The more I realized I was not a normal person the harder I laughed and cried. First class passengers were not impressed with my behavior.

  5. I have loved most of these authors, and their books, but I voted for Haley Walsh and Joel Leslie because I think the Skyler Foxe series is brilliant and yet underrated, but Joel Leslie…he does a fantastic job with Desert Foxe, so much happening, so many characters with distinct voices. The books, already excellent, are brought to life, become more three dimensional. Well done to all those nominated, some of my other favourite narrators there as well. A tough choice.

  6. Hmmm, embarrassing moments?

Listening to Charlie Cochet’s books while running on the treadmill at the gym. Certain scenes can be very distracting and that’s all I’m admitting to. 😉

  7. The Skyler Fox series is one of the most entertaining around and the combination of Haley Walsh’s great characters and plots with the vocal talent of Joel Leslie makes this a winner in by book. If I had a book and if I did I hope it would be as entertaining and amazing to listen to as Desert Fox.

  8. Voted for Betting on Forever-I love Felice’s books 🙂

I normally listen to audiobooks on my iPhone at work with my earbuds in and my phone in a stand on my desk. Almost every book in my library is M/M romance with the requisite naughty scenes…and one day I’m listening while one of those scenes is going on, turn for something at my desk and wound up pulling the headphone jack out so it starts playing on speakerphone. I have never moved so fast in my life to hit the pause button LOL.

  9. Rhys and Greg are the best! Her books are filled with emotions and humor and Greg brings the pages to life. When the main character,Cole McGinnis, brother get shot by a sniper I had everyone at my job worried about me. See they allow us music with headphones and I was in tears!!

  10. So while listening to Catch a Tiger by the Tail and all the other Thirds audiobooks 2my dad always walks in on the sex scenes lol. Never fails he always comes in right as they start or in the middle. I always ask while laughing if he’s learning anything new. My mom listens with me so she can catch bits she missed while reading them.

  11. I voted for Charlie Cochet’s ‘Catch a Tiger by the Tail’ because the Thirds are my favorite series. Dex is hilarious and Mark does such a great rendition of his quirkiness, that it just brings joy to my day. Even though I’ve listened to this series in its current entirety everytime the latest audiobook comes out, I still look forward to waking up in the morning, even if it’s at 3am, so I can continue listening. I mean…when you get to hear Mark repeat favorite lines like “…coffee” and “…shooting things” (fans of the series know exactly what I’m talking about), it’s better than chocolate…and I’m a chocoholic so that’s saying something!
