Clyde Barrington is a werewolf with a curse on his head. Every night, he shifts from human to wolf and lives the life of a lonely predator, never fully accepted by his pack. When he saves a handsome stranger from a fire, everything changes.

In a world divided by the ancient feud between werewolves and warlocks, Clyde and Terry must learn to trust each other. When wolves start to disappear, their bond is tested by the fear of a pack now balanced on the edge of destruction.

Amidst a web of lies, deceits and betrayals, Clyde must decide where his loyalties lie, and choose between a forbidden love and the ties that bind him to his brothers. Is Terry an enemy to the pack, or the saviour that will lead them out of the darkness?

This is a short read with a lot of information to impart. Witches and Warlocks against werewolves, vampires and shape shifters. And of course a love story in the middle of all of it.

The world building was basic. You learn about the feelings the 2 sides have towards each other. You have Terry a warlock and Clyde a cursed werewolf get past the strong feelings of hatred they have grown up with to develop strong physical and emotional ties to each other.

I got caught up with the story and was quite surprised I finished it so quickly. There are many threads left hanging, not quite a cliffhanger as much as a continuation of the story line. It was an almost instant connection, not one of my favorite genres, it wasn’t a fated mate connection, but yeah I think your hot let’s get together immediately.

As I said it’s left open on what will happen next and I will look for the next book to follow up on.
